LBAC Travel client, Page Kral, shares a review of her family’s recent trip to Ambergris Cay at Turks & Caicos. The trip was organized and booked by LBAC Travel partner, Jennifer Ward.

“My family and I just returned from the most amazing vacation we have ever taken! We went to Ambergris Cay in Turks & Caicos for five nights. The trip was made possible due to Jennifer Ward’s hard work, thoughtful consideration, and relentless effort to make it all possible. We were originally supposed to go to the Alexandra Resort in April for spring break, but due to Covid our trip was rescheduled to the end of August. Then in early August we learned Alexandra Resort was still closed but their sister property, on a private island, called Ambergris Cay was open. We were delighted to hear this and so grateful for the upgrade that Jennifer got us.

Ambergris Cay is a on a private island, about a 20-minute flight from the main airport in Turks.  Once arriving on the island, we were taken to our three-bedroom villa that included a pool, ocean view, butler, 3.5 bathrooms, kitchen, den and golf cart. It was amazing! Ambergris Cay is an all-inclusive resort, so we enjoyed delicious cocktails and breakfast, lunch, and dinner either in our villa or on the patio of the restaurant, which was a short golf cart ride away. The island was gorgeous – we snorkeled, swam, fished, tubed and also enjoyed a beautiful sunset cruise.

It was not an easy destination to get to during these difficult times with Covid. Upon Jennifer’s instruction, we had to get tested for Covid and have negative results within 72 hours of arrival in the country. We had many mishaps: a missed connection in Miami which led to outdated Covid tests! Through all the stress, tears, worry and concern Jennifer helped guide us. She contacted American Airlines and secured rebooked flights, hotel rooms and food vouchers. Thank you, Jennifer, for truly a trip of a lifetime!”
