My husband and I had planned a trip with Keri Vita, our trusted travel partner at LBAC Travel toMexico, but due to COVID and the travel restrictions, Keri postponed that trip for us.  We still wanted to get away for a few days for our anniversary, and Keri suggested Martha’s Vineyard.  Since we had never been, we thought that was a great option.  Keri booked us three nights at the Harbor View Hotel in Edgartown, Martha’s Vineyard.  The location and hotel were simply perfect! Everything was very peaceful and extremely relaxing – just what we were looking for!  The hotel also has the most amazing veranda where you can sit and eat or just relax and watch the boats go by.  The hotel has recently been remodeled.  

Being that we are in the middle of a pandemic, we were concerned about the safety precautions.  We had to take a ferry to get to Martha’s Vineyard, and there were no concerns there.  They limited the amount of people on the ferry and everyone wore masks and socially distanced appropriately.  As soon as we stepped into the hotel, all my worries were gone, and I instantly relaxed.  Everyone was wearing masks and there was hand sanitizer everywhere.  Also, I saw staff constantly cleaning doors, tables, handrails, etc.  The staff was very attentive, and we never once felt like we were getting less of a vacation experience because of COVID.  In addition, you had to make reservations for the pool because they had a 25 person limit.  The pool was lovely and the pool service was excellent.  Their restaurant, Bettini, had the most delicious seafood.  Everyone was distanced appropriately and they did not set the table until you were seated.  You don’t have to wear your mask while seated, but all servers were wearing masks. 

During the time we spent at the hotel, as well as surrounding areas and restaurants, I never felt uncomfortable.  It was so nice to relax for a few days and not worry about anything, except for what we were eating for dinner!  I would recommend traveling to the Harbor View Hotel.  We felt completely safe and enjoyed our mini-vacation.
